This year we enjoyed a day in the park for our annual picnic.

Every event requires some dedicated early birds to start getting things set up.

As more folks arrive, there is ample opportunity to chat before lunch is served.

The bounty begins to accumulate, but nobody seems to be hungry at this point except the photographer.

The visiting continues. Third from the left is Soni Mayberry, who came all the way from Texas to join us. It was wonderful to have her with us after such a long absence.

President Joetta Hoewisch addresses the gathering prior to lunch. In the background is husband Tony Hoewisch who so faithfully contributes greatly to our various activities.

Now the dinner bell has rung, and the real action begins. What a wonderful selection of food. Don't you just love pot luck gatherings? In keeping with our HP roots, no instructions were given as to what each person should bring. A simple objective was set: Bring what is needed to create a feast. The balance and selection were fantastic. Management by objective works!

What more can be said than, "Happiness is sharing a good meal with friends.

Joetta makes final preparations for the drawing to award the HP TouchSmart computer as part of our membership recruiting drive.

Joetta is assisted by John Meredith as the winning number is drawn.

And the lucky winner was Les Bailey.
