Laura Mattison and Anna Kochis man the sign-in table as the first members arrive.

Mary Lou Bailey soon took over for Laura and sold lots of tickets for the 50-50 Pot. It looks like Hal Wright might be reaching for his money, and Jerry Murphy already has his ready to go.

Members who arrive early get lots of time to roam around and visit with old friends.

The main focus of this month's meeting was Bingo. Everything is ready for the officials to arrive.

January has traditionally become our "Birthday Month". What's a birthday without a cake? Sure looks good, doesn't it? It was!

Les Bailey describes the work done by the committee that has worked on updating our Bylaws and the process we will follow to review and approve them.

President Joetta Hoewisch recognized the contributions of our out-going officers with a special certificate of appreciation. Left to right are Treasurer Laura Mattison, Secretary Lois Green and Vice President Mark Smith.

Also recognized for their service in producing our Club's monthly newsletters were Associate Editor Gerry McGonigle (left) and Editor George Blinn (right). George has been faithfully serving as Newsetter Editor for about 20 years.

What does our former Club Secretary do at meetings these days? She enjoys them! Never one to sit idly by, Lois Green applies her multi-tasking skills to a little knitting. It's rumored that she made five scarves and a baby blanket during the meeting.

Bill Escovitz will be running the Bingo cage today. He looks a bit unsure about how the process works.

All that's required is a little training from two old Bingo pros, Mark Lambuth and Joe Trujillo.

Now we can get down to serious play. Have you ever seen such intense concentration?

How many retired engineers does it take to validate a Bingo winner? Only three if they also have Joe Trujillo on their team. Our thanks to Mark Lambuth, Bill Escovitz, Joe Trujillo, and Jerry Murphy. Their efforts made it possible for our members to enjoy an afternoon of Bingo.

And, after a break for refreshments, the games continued. Everyone had fun, even those who didn't win.
