Joe Trujillo and Wanda McGonigle try to keep up with the sign-in and casino duties as the crowd gathers.

Make sure it's a winner! Ken Fulton purchases a ticket in the 50-50 pot as Chuck Smart awaits his turn.

A wonderful collection of goodies starts to accumulate on the Great American Bake Sale table.

Note that all of these are low calorie items (so long as you just look at them, that is).

The profits from The Great American Bake Sale went to help feed hungry children. This fact made purchasing a large quantity and breaking one's diet much easier to justify.

Don Griffith and John Meredith discuss world affairs prior to the start of the meeting.

Lois Green, hard at work prior to the start of the program setting up her refreshments. Lois provided a generous selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, dips and flavored teas that we all greatly enjoyed.

Colorado Attorney General John Suthers greets us warmly prior to being introduced. His presentation was a very interesting talk about his career, the duties of his current office, and the book he has written.

Some of the large attendance we had at this meeting anxiously await John's presentation.

Joetta Hoewisch wearing two hats, so to speak. In the tradition of our Treasurer, Laura Mattison, she wore a hat when giving the Treasurer's Report while Laura was busy handling bake sale duties.

Joetta also wore the hat in recognition of the new Red Hat Society group that some of the ladies in our club are forming. All interested ladies are invited to join in the fun
.

John Suthers autographed many copies of his new book for audience members. The book is titled, "No Higher Calling, No Greater Responsibility: A Prosecutor Makes His Case".
